Coriolis, electromagnetic and vortex-acoustic flowmeters
Achieve accurate measurement and process control results by choosing the right flow measurement technology.
Flow measurement is the process of measuring the flow of liquid in an enterprise. Flowmeters with different operating principles are used for this purpose. For example, such as Coriolis flow meters, vortex, electromagnetic and vortex-acoustic flowmeters. At the moment, universal Coriolis flowmeters Metran-360M, vortex acoustic flowmeters Metran-300PR still can be ordered for use in commercial metering systems for thermal energy, hot and cold water supply, as well as for technological measurements of water flow and aqueous solutions in various industries, including the use in automated control system. Vortex acoustic flowmeters Metran-305PR are designed for measuring water flow in reservoir pressure maintenance systems in the oil industry.
Coriolis fkowmeters
Coriolis flowmeters (Metran-360M) are considered to be the most accurate flowmeters today. They are ideal for any application where high measurement accuracy is key to ensuring product quality, safety and profitability. Such instruments are often applied in custody transfer applications due to their excellent accuracy over broad conditions and low maintenance requirements.
Electromagnetic Flowmeters Electromagnetic flow meters (known more simply as magnetic flow meters, or mag meters), represent the second largest segment within the precision flow meter market, and will likely overtake the top position held by traditional Differential Pressure (DP) flow technologies. Magnetic flow meters are a top choice for measuring the volumetric flow of conductive liquids due to their excellent measurement performance across a wide range of process conditions. New electromagnetic flowmeter Metran-370M was introduced in October 2023.
Vortex Flowmeters Vortex flowmeters can be used to measure gases and liquids with low viscosity in a wide range of conditions. The market of vortex flowmeters has shown steady growth in recent years, primarily due to their use in systems with saturated steam, oil and gas. Metran vortex flowmeter will also be available on the market in 1Q 2024.
