Resistance temperature detectors (hereinafter referred to as RTD) Metran-2000 are designed to measure the temperature of various media, temperatures in aluminum and copper melts, surface temperatures of solid bodies, and small-sized bearings in the gas, oil, coal, power, metallurgical, chemical, petrochemical, mechanical engineering, metalworking, instrument manufacturing, food, woodworking and other industries, as well as in the housing and communal services and energy saving sectors. RTD Metran-2000 ordered with the “KTS” option (hereinafter referred to as RTD assemblies) are matched pairs of resistance temperature detectors and are intended for measuring temperature and temperature difference of water as part of heat meters and other heat energy metering and monitoring devices in heat supply and heat consuming organizations. The use of RTDs is permitted in neutral as well as aggressive media with respect to which the materials in contact with the measured medium are corrosion-resistant.
Thermocouple temperature transducers (hereinafter referred to as TC) Metran-2000 are designed to measure the temperature of various media in many industries, as well as in the housing and communal services and energy saving sectors. The use of TCs is permitted in neutral as well as aggressive media with respect to which the materials in contact with the measured medium are corrosion-resistant.
